What to Expect

At your first appointment or class

You can book an appointment for a private lesson by using our "Book Today" tab or by e-mailing confidentcaninecoach@gmail.com or texting 804-446-4584.

If booking through e-mail or text: After we find a time that works for your schedule, we will add your appointment to our calendar, send an invoice and an intake form, and send a reminder of your appointment the day before. 

If booking online: Your appointment will automatically be added to our calendar, and we will send an intake form to be filled out at least 48 hours in advance of your appointment. We will send an e-mail reminder of your appointment the day before. 

If you sign up for a Pack Hike or Group workshop, we ask that you leave any shock or prong collars at home, as well as leash corrections. 
We recommend front clip harnesses (like the 3 in 1 Harness from Petsafe or the Freedom Harness from 2 Hounds Design), but will allow flat and martingale collars. Each class or workshop will have a class description detailing what you will need to bring and what to expect upon arrival to class.
We also recommend a treat pouch for workshops and classes, our favorite is the Petsafe Treat Sport Pouch, but there are plenty of other great options available.
